Project Overview
The Laser and Water Show in Yilan County was specially designed and built for the 2024 Yilan International Children’s Folklore & Folkgames Festival, one of Taiwan’s most iconic cultural events.
This spectacular installation integrates laser lighting, dynamic fountain movements, and special flame effects to create a highly immersive nighttime performance. The show has significantly elevated Yilan’s festival atmosphere and strengthened the region’s appeal as a night tourism destination.
Key Highlights
Designed for the 2024 Yilan International Children’s Folklore & Folkgames Festival.
Integration of swing laser lights and running fountains.
Multiple fountain systems, including: 1D swing fountains, 2D swing fountains, Flame fountains, and Rotating flower basket fountains.
Fully synchronized lighting, water effects, and special flames.
Design Concept & Challenges
The design concept aimed to create an engaging, family-oriented performance that matched the joyful and energetic spirit of the Yilan Children’s Festival.
Key challenges included:
· Coordinating multiple effects (lasers, flames, dynamic water movements) to ensure safe yet impactful performances.
· Ensuring high visibility and aesthetic presentation in an outdoor festival environment.
· Integrating complex control systems for real-time synchronization of lights, music, and fountains.
Through careful programming and precise engineering, the show delivers a vivid, rhythmic, and colorful experience suitable for audiences of all ages.
